Journalist Klodian Tomorri, in a note on social media, criticizes the stance of Socialist MP Elisa Spiropali. According to him, it is not easy to stand up to this system, as you can be attacked, denigrated and blackmailed.

It is very easy to find fault with anyone, especially in Albania. Even more so, with a politician who has held high public office.

But Elisa Spiropali is proving to be one of the most dignified people within the Socialist Party.

It's not easy to stand up to the system that has been set up here. They blackmail you, threaten you, spy on you, denigrate you.

Look at what they're doing. Sometimes they're charging taxes, sometimes they're blackmailing the media. It's no wonder they're also letting the prosecutor's office or SPAK go. They're suffocating you.

So anyone who doesn't bow their head and stands up to this deserves great respect. Because this is not easy. It is not easy, at all.

And the reason doesn't matter at all. This could be a matter of intrigue, pleasure, jealousy of power. It doesn't matter either why not yesterday when you were in the chair, but today when they removed you.

Everything, even the greatest public causes, always starts from personal interests. This is human nature; Adam Smith said it 300 years ago.

The mere fact that someone stands up to this system is a great public service, regardless of motives and regardless of time.
