The publication of the SPAK dossier on Arben Ahmetaj in the media revealed some names of well-known businessmen and some not so many, who are mentioned for their links to the former minister.
But the publication of the names of the businessmen has criticised former politician Eduart Halimi, today owned by a law firm.
Regarding Halim's statement, journalist Habjon Hassan reacted. The latter says that Halimi must first tell whether he speaks as a party, i.e. whether he represents any of the businessmen in question, or if he gives free thought as an expert on laws.
According to Hassan, there are some people who remain in prison without any proof.
"The fact that Halimi carries the gas pedal of the businessmen, not only does not say anything fundamental to the media ethics, but I fear that it reveals halimi's role that as a lawyer he is, has to respond to the interests of clients and to the problems they have outside the court doors, through the portals he found," writes among other journalists Hasani.
Full reaction:
I read a note from former Minister of Justice Eduart Halimi, who said that the mention of the names of businessmen linked to the "Ahmeti" file by the media, according to him, was a violation of conventions and law.
Since I have not reported any businessman name on hashtag linked to this file, I think I am on favorable terms to review this statement by Halim.
First, I want to clarify that the reason I have not mentioned any of the businessmen's names is completely private, in total there are 7-8 businesswomen involved, of whom I know personally and with one of the two I have been eating bread several times.
It is enough to cross all because of bread, for there is no point in mentioning some and some of them being put in the armpit. I cut it short.
When the prosecutor's office is released, I will publish their names, as in bread or as in the world.
Second, as far as Halim's claim is, he must first tell us today that he exercises the function of lawyer if there is a client of any businessmen or if there are clients companies that are connected to these businessmen.
So he should clarify whether he is talking as the party involved or as a free expert on our infinite Universe.
Third, more than the businessmen in that file are affected especially the former wife and wife of the subject Arben Ahmetaj or the family tarafi of these two, which in my judgment are also the largest victims of this story.
That with the friend, the official and the partner shares the heap and shows him the way, but with the family it is very difficult to separate the sinars.
Not to add here and the fact that in the files of TheOc and Fier for incinerates there are cases of fakir and fukarenj persons who have been burned as much as statistics and on which there is no evidence justifying the prison.
The fact that Halimi carries the gas pedal of the businessmen, not only does not say anything fundamental to the media ethics, but I fear that he reveals Halimi's role that as a lawyer he is, has to respond to the interests of clients and to the problems they have outside the court doors, through the portals.
