BMW seized from 22-year-old in Vlora

A 22-year-old man was prosecuted, fined, and his Mercedes car was seized after he performed dangerous maneuvers on the road.

The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Vlora Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, in charge of citizen D. Xh., 22 years old, resident of Vlora, for the criminal offenses of "Disobedience to the order of a police officer" and "Disturbance of public peace".

The investigative actions resulted in this citizen, in the place called "Kapelja", repeatedly slashing the tires of a "BMW" vehicle, becoming a danger to citizens and other vehicles circulating in that area, and disobeying the general patrol's order to stop.

At the same time, the Vlora Road Traffic Services imposed an administrative fine of 5,200 lek on this citizen for violating articles 139/8, 153/5, 139/3, 190/1-6 and 120/1-6 of the Road Code, as well as the additional measure of withdrawing his driving license.

At the conclusion of all procedural and administrative actions, the vehicle was seized.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
