The uncle of 17-year-old Leandro Shametaj , who lost his life in the tragic accident in Vlora two days ago, made a strong statement to the media today, emphasizing that the event was not an accident, but intentional murder.

In his statement to the media, Mikel Marsi stated that driving a vehicle at a speed of over 200 km/h, in the middle of the boulevard and while intoxicated, cannot be considered an accident.

He added that, although the perpetrator Hajri Bajramaj was left in prison today by decision of the Vlora Court , the family members are demanding stricter laws and maximum punishment for the perpetrators of such tragic events.

Uncle of the 17-year-old,  Mikel Marsi :  We demand from justice that he really got what he deserves, but we demand that this law be toughened. It was not an accident, but for us it is intentional murder. The moment you drive at 200 km/h on the boulevard and you turn out to be drunk, there is no question for us… We cannot believe this. We demand that the law be toughened, it is not a traffic violation, it is intentional murder.
