The Tirana Court set the security measure of " prison arrest " for Isuf Hasa , accused of the murder of 81-year-old Xhemal Meta .

The 81-year-old was found lifeless on the morning of January 13 in the yard of his apartment on the outskirts of Tirana, hit with hard objects in the back of the head.

After investigating the incident, police concluded that he was killed with a hammer for weak motives and then robbed by his neighbor, Isuf Hasa, 64.

The police stated that during searches conducted in several apartments of the perpetrator and his family members, 200,000 new lek were found, while the hammer was hidden in his daughter's apartment in Vora.

The 81-year-old lived alone in the village, while his family lives in the capital. The latter have stated that the elderly man had no conflicts with anyone.
