Petrit Çakri is one of the people arrested for the murder and drowning of Reni Dobra a few days ago in Lake Shkopet.
Çakri was arrested in Lekbibaj, Tropoja, while Fatjon Bushgjoka was arrested in Tirana.
Petrit Çakri admitted to the investigation group that he had traveled to the village of Madhesh in Mati together with the Bushgjokaj brothers after they had told him they would find drugs.
"I was in prison with Chris," the suspect is reported to have said.
He added that he finished his sentence in April of this year and continued to maintain contact with his cellmate, currently wanted for the murder of Renis Dobra.
Referring to Çakr's testimony, it is noted that the investigation team has information about how the brothers changed multiple cars and how they sat in several cafes during the trip.
"I was in the other car and they didn't tell me, I don't know what happened to the boy, I saw on the news that he was killed. They told me to run away," the suspect is said to have explained about the kidnapping and subsequent murder of the 23-year-old.
From the GPS analysis, investigators are convinced that the young man's murder was committed within 30 minutes of his abduction.
