Vjosa Osmani receives death threats: I will kill you and your family!

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani , has become the subject of a direct threat via email, sent this morning.

The news was confirmed to Telegrafi by President Vjosa Osmani's media advisor, Bekim Kupina.

The email, sent by a person named Betim Ibrahimi from the address, had the subject line "Work a little harder/faster", but its content crossed every boundary of institutional communication.

The threatening message, which was sent to the official address of the Office of the President, in addition to offensive words and derogatory language, also advises retaliatory actions against the president's family, for "treason" and alleged political decisions such as changing the flag or implementing linguistics in official communication.

“Your family too. For treason. For changing our flag. For following people and making decisions based on their opinions… Are the signs in Serbia in both languages, Albanian and Serbian?”, ”the email sent on July 16 at 00:15 reads, among other things.

The message was also accompanied by an automatic warning from the presidency's information system that classified the email as coming from outside the organization.

There is still no official reaction from the Presidency or the Kosovo Police, but it is expected that the case will be investigated and the person in question will be held legally responsible./Telegraph
