Liljana Gjonaj , the mother of Mariglen Gjonaj , who was killed by his friend Kristjan Cenaj, has narrated details of the life of the 16-year-old, whose remains were found 7 years after his death, in April 2022, after burning some bushes in Red Field.

In News 24, Liljana Gjonaj said that Marigleni's life has not been easy because her father was executed in front of her.

Liljana Gjonaj: He gave his soul in the most macabre way, I hope everything will be clarified. Life at school until he finished the 9th grade everything went well, when it was time to move him to the gymnasium he told me that he wants to do sports. I separated him from the gymnasium where his brother was, he has had a great time with the company. I was interested and went very quickly, I was father and mother for him. He went to boxing regularly, my mother told me I will become a champion.

How did you experience the loss of your father?

Liljana Gjonaj:  She had a bad experience, because she was killed in front of Marigleni and Klyd, the eldest son. I told him not to be upset, that's life, we have nothing to do. I did not raise children to commit murder. My son lived in the dormitory and I was interested in the caretakers. There was good company.

Do you remember the day he disappeared?

Liljana Gjonaj:  Marigleni came out in the morning, I told her fine. When she came home, I saw her pendant and watch, I thought it was simple, I asked her about the pendant, she told me it belonged to a friend of her brother's, I didn't like it, I told her "Take care and at 9 o'clock I want you here." He was going to go to school in the evening, he took his brother's car .
