The Court of Durrës has decided the security measure "prison arrest" for the former director of Hipoteka, Ardian Kona.

Kona was arrested three days ago on charges of abuse of office and falsification of documents. The re-evaluation of the security measure was carried out in his absence, as he is in the hospital due to health problems.

According to the prosecution body, represented by prosecutor Mediana Meta, Ardian Kona is accused of alienating a land area of ​​14,000 m² in Lalëzi Bay. The land was registered without proper documentation in the name of Kujtim Demiraj, after a complaint by citizen Bilal Kertusha.

Bledar Zerba, a lawyer at ASHK Durrës, Leonard Dervishi, a cartographer at ASHK Durrës, as well as Arta Demiraj, a beneficiary, have also been declared wanted for property abuse.

The investigation showed that the 44-year-old woman, resident in Tirana, in cooperation with three employees of ASHK Durrës, registered the property of the type of land without any legal document, this property located in Lalëz Durrës, which previously was property with "state" status.
