The police of Vlora  regarding the assassination that happened last evening ( September 9, 2023 ) in Vlora, where Laert Keka was shot dead .

So far, there are no suspects for the murder, while the police have escorted 8 people who have been interrogated.

The serious criminal event took place near the Orthodox church and 28 cartridges were found at the scene, which means that a Kalashnikov magazine was fired at the victim.

Police notification:

Around 9:50 p.m., in the "28-Nëntori" neighborhood, under still unclear circumstances, a 41-year-old citizen of LK was shot dead. From the control of the area, on the "Kotë-Sevaster" road axis, the Police services found an "Audi" type vehicle, burning.

Checkpoints were immediately set up at the entrances/exits of the city of Vlora and on the "Vlora-Fier", "Vlora-Tepelen" and "Vlora-Himarë" axes. Also, the Police services continue combing the area, with the aim of locating and catching the perpetrators.

The investigative group is at the scene and under the guidance of the prosecutor, is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, as well as to record any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of identifying and apprehending the perpetrators.
