Murder of Italian businessman in Tepelena/ Mystery over witness shepherd

New details have emerged from the serious incident of the previous day in Tepelë, where Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi was killed.

The 44-year-old was shot while driving his car. It is not yet known which weapon he was shot with, but the two shotguns that were used by the victim and his companions who had gone out for this outdoor activity have been sent for examination.

On the other hand, the Blues have released the four people arrested in connection with the incident, after being questioned for more than 12 hours, without reaching a single conclusion.

From their testimony, it is revealed that the escorts stated that they were shot by another person, but no shell casings were found at the scene.

Meanwhile, a person from Vlora has been declared wanted as he is suspected of being related to the incident, but his role is unknown.

The victim was shot in the leg and died from excessive bleeding.

We recall that the serious incident occurred in the village of Salari, while at around 00:30, in a place called "Dilan", the lifeless body of Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi was found.

According to signs at the scene, it is believed that the victim's body was dragged and thrown to the other side of the road.

The area where the incident occurred is a very busy one. Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi had lived in Tirana for 20 years and often went to Salari in Tepelena due to his passion for hunting.
