Residents of six villages on the Vlora river protested about the road that connects their villages to each other.

For more than 35 years, these residents have been waiting for asphalt; according to the protesters, the villages have been abandoned precisely due to the lack of infrastructure, which makes it even more difficult to receive educational and health services.

The most difficult situation is during winter, where the presence of mud makes it even more difficult for vehicles to enter this area.

The protest was peaceful and without incident.

The road connecting Vlora with Qeparo was blocked for 20 minutes, the line of cars this weekend being extremely long, however the protest ended as soon as the residents expressed their demands, which was the paving of the roads of 6 villages.
