An Albanian thief who stole the homes of Premier League stars has been sentenced to prison by a British court.
Emiliano Krosi, 24, took part in 33 burglaries over a four-month period between November 11 and March 16 last year, including targeting the homes of Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella and Scott Dann.
When he robbed Sterling's property, the Albanian "hawk" had managed to distinguish which of the watches in the footballer's collection were fake, taking only the original ones.
The houses were "carefully selected" and the gang of thieves carried out quick raids.
The Albanian was sentenced to 12 years and 10 months in prison for conspiracy to commit theft, possession with intent to supply cocaine and simple possession of cannabis.
The total value of the thefts was around 1.139 million pounds, the court was told.
Football player Scott Dann, in a statement read by the prosecutor, said his wife had lost her engagement ring and he was at home with his wife and two young children when they were robbed. A total of £220,000 was stolen.
