The Internal Control Service of Prisons has arrested the director of the Reç-Shkodër Penitentiary Institution, Ervis Zika.

The arrest warrant was issued by the Shkodra Judicial District Prosecutor's Office.

The commanding director of the Reçi prison is suspected of theft by abusing his duty and inserting prohibited items in the premises of serving his sentence.

In connection with the theft he got fuel by signing fictitious cards. Other former officials are also being investigated for fuel abuse. While he entered the regime without going through the scanner and there are suspicions that he has introduced prohibited items.
