The clash escalated when residents blocked the road and managed to forcibly remove part of the barbed wire and high walls surrounding the construction site.

The company "Gener 2", owned by businessman Bashkim Ulaj, is building a giant resort in this area that extends over an area of ??147.2 hectares.


The works began in February of this year, but in recent days the company had begun an unexpected "fortification" of the area with high walls, which has also brought immediate revolt from the community.
