Touching moments were captured on camera as Officer Edison Adri was transported by helicopter to Trauma for specialized medical treatment.

The attention has been drawn to a police colleague who cannot hold back his tears and is crying profusely.

The 36-year-old's family also appear shocked and in tears, accompanying him through a difficult emotional moment.

Adri was injured during the operation to capture 43-year-old Violand Braçellari, sentenced to 10 years in prison for drug trafficking, who opened fire on police forces.

The incident resulted in the death of the "Eagle" Special Forces operative, Enea Mekolli, while the suspected perpetrator was injured and arrested.

The injured officer's health condition is being monitored by doctors, while he has been sent to Tirana for more specialized treatment.
