Observation: Who receives the hundreds of millions of euros thrown by the EU in
How EU funds are managed by Albanian NGOs

Where do the hundreds of millions of euros thrown by the European Union in Albania go?

The investigative show "Piranhas" brought an observation on this topic.

Shortly before the fall of communism, Albania was presented to Europe in a not very gallant way.

The message of the Albanians "We love Albania like all of Europe" was clear.

But Europe's answer was simple, to help them stay in Albania and stop crossing the sea.

But the result was not what was expected. Then Europe changed its strategy and decided to give financial funds to Albania instead of food.

In the last 20 years, aid in the EU and the USA amounts to hundreds of thousands of euros in order to improve the lives of Albanians.

But has the life of Albanians improved?

In almost every progress report of the EU, one sentence is always present "The need to fight corruption and mismanagement of public funds."

How is taxpayers' money managed, where does it go and how effective are hundreds of millions of Europeans' euros?

"Piranjat" has made an observation of EU tenders won by specialized Albanian organizations.

"Euro Partner Development" and "Eco Partners for Sustainable Development" are two organizations that have been operating for several years in Albania and manage projects worth over 5 million euros.

But what do these two organizations have in common?
