Large fires in Prespa, Bulqiza and Mat

A large-scale fire has broken out in the Prespa National Park in the Pustec area.

The hearth has taken on large dimensions over the last few minutes, spreading in the forest.

The firefighters of the municipality of Pustec, other forces from the public services, ADZM and the border police are in the field, the situation is very difficult due to the large spread of the hearth.

There are more than 50 forces on the ground that are making it possible to intervene to initially isolate the flames, but the situation remains critical.

Over 20 fires have also appeared this afternoon in Bulqiza and in Klos i Matit, where, as can be seen from the images, the fires helped by strong wind and high temperatures are burning hundreds of hectares of pine and pasture forests, but not only.
