The race with luxury cars in Vlora, the "drivers" from North Macedonia

Two drivers from North Macedonia have been fined 600 thousand old lek each, after they were filmed performing dangerous maneuvers on the Vlora bypass.

The police managed to identify them after the publication of the video on social networks, where luxury cars could be seen performing dangerous overtaking.

Police Notification:

Regarding a video published on social networks, in which two vehicles are shown performing dangerous maneuvers on the Vlora-Orikum road axis, in the segment called "Bypass", we inform you that:

After the verifications carried out by the Vlora Traffic Police services, it turned out that the drivers of these vehicles have committed several violations of the traffic rules, as follows:

• Have not adjusted speed on curves with limited field of view;

• They have held speed races with each other, putting other road users at risk;

• They did not maintain the position of the vehicle on the carriage;

• Have overtaken a bend, in violation of the provisions of the Traffic Code.
For these violations found, based on the provisions of DCM no. 153, Article 350, as well as in the relevant articles of the Traffic Code, an administrative measure worth 62,000 Lek each has been imposed on two owners of vehicles, citizens from North Macedonia.

The Vlora Local Police Directorate invites citizens to report any case of violation of traffic rules to the number 112, guaranteeing an immediate response and in accordance with the law.
