Henrik Hoxhaj testified at the GJKKO regarding his early conflict with Ismet Boriç , providing details about his injury, the motives for revenge, and the armed incident that occurred in 2018 .

According to Hoxhaj 's testimony , the conflicts began in 1999 , due to problems that a childhood friend of his, Vrion Kallanxhiu, had with the Boriçi brothers .

Hoxhaj also talks about a conflict in 2004 where he was injured, claiming that the perpetrator was Ismet Boriçi .

"The conflict occurred in '99-2000. A childhood friend of mine had problems with the Boriçi brothers. The reason began in 2004, when I was running home and was wounded by 3 bullets. Ismet Boriçi wounded the brother of Viron Kallanxhiu, my childhood friend, who is now in prison. The Boriçs are a big clan. A pointless, unrelated situation was created, "why are you looking at me". He pulled out his gun, I grabbed his gun by the barrel. He shot me. I ran away, someone caught me there. I was staying with this friend of mine, it occurred to me that he had a connection with my friend who shot me, because I had no problems with anyone else. I knew Viron's history with Boriçi. Viron had taken action against him, had hit Ismet in '99 in Italy. I wanted to finish the job with him. Finish the job, kill him so... what should I hire him for? He "He shot me," he said.

Meanwhile, he admitted to the jury that his goal was revenge, explaining that Viron Kallanxhiu was unaware of his plan and had not participated in any way.
