Pharmacist Kristina Mici, who gave first aid to 14-year-old Martin Cami who was fatally injured yesterday by his peer, gave an interview today for the Breaking show from Fiordi Dardha on Top News.
She said that it happened at the scene where she saw everything that happened in a few seconds. It was she, together with other people, who took the minor to the hospital, who had shown signs of life on the way, but could not make it.
" I was at the scene when the child fell to the ground. I called the ambulance, which responded immediately, I told them that the child had an accident. I was told that he was stabbed. I don't even know where I found that strength, the child urgently needed intervention.
The child was lying on the ground, I approached and saw him, I touched his hand, he was still beating and there were signs of life. His eyes would sometimes focus and then disappear. A woman was saying let's take her by car. For a few seconds, I was parked at the door of the school. He stuck the knife right in the heart, it became a huge crowd of people.
Then we saw that the child did not have time for the ambulance, we put him in a lady's car. A boy approached and said he will come with you. The ambulance told me we are in traffic, a lady contacted me and told me to go to Trauma. The boy was in critical moments.
We passed through curbs and sidewalks, with alarms and horns. We headed to QSUT, we saw the ambulance in front of us, I blocked all the traffic. The child had raised his head and was looking for his mother. We thought we left him alive. Spectators have committed a double crime. We thought we left him alive, I hope such a serious event does not happen again , "said the pharmacist.
