The Socialists and Democrats came together during discussions in the Committee on Education and the Media on the case of a 20-year-old bride from Librazhd who was caught with her boyfriend in bed by her father-in-law and mother-in-law.

DP MP Flutura Açka has expressed that she is concerned about the case, asking the AMA to react faster than the perpetrators. 

"That event with that girl from Librazhd shocked me a lot and I say that a hearing is needed with the AMA or what they need from us because the execution, the act was delayed. Things happened, the laws must act and the AMA must "to act much faster than the perpetrators. There are thousands of girls who need our support. I have experienced this for myself, some days I was not well. For me it was on the verge of the Middle Ages." said Açka.

The same opinion was shared by the SP MP, Petro Koçi, who stressed that it is unimaginable that such situations occur in a civilized society.

"I agree with the mayor's concern. It was a concern that we all felt and the broadcast on the portals and the media was serious. We do not go into private matters, but what happened was a public lynching, of a citizen who has It's been a barbarism and a setback that has nothing to do with today's civilization.I would suggest that a group of us have a meeting with the AMA director without a public hearing, because I do not want to harass him further.I agree, the reaction should be faster.So I think we who lead the commission, two from the opposition and two from the majority to have a meeting with the AMA and this we make it public as a meeting. " said Petro Koçi.

The majority and the opposition agreed to hold a meeting with the AMA to seek a quicker response in such cases.
