The Special Court has issued the verdict for defendants Agron Qafa and Florenc Czechrezi who were sentenced to 8 years and 3 years and 4 months in prison respectively.

Agron Qafa and Florenc Cherezi were captured thanks to operation 'Golden Bullet'. Agron Qafa is accused of violent theft and a structured criminal group, while Florenc Cerezi is accused of destroying property with explosives and weapons.

2. The judgment of this case was conducted with the rules of the shortened judgment. At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Crime of

Organized by the court of judges Eglantina Mikani, Bib Ndreca and Olkeda Lice, with decision No. 46, dated 19.07.2024 decided:

1. Guilty plea of the defendant Agron Qafa for the criminal offense of "Violent theft", to the detriment of the victim ****, committed in cooperation, in the form of the group of

Structured criminal, "Committing criminal offences by criminal organizations and structured criminal group" provided respectively by Articles 139, in convening with Articles 28,

Points 4 and 334, point 1 of the Penal Code, and his sentence to 12 (twelve) years imprisonment.

1.1. Guilty plea of agron Qafa for the criminal offense "Structured criminal group" in the form of participation, provided by Article 333/a, second paragraph of the Penal Code, and his sentence to 2 (two) years imprisonment.

1.2. In application of Article 55, the first paragraph of the Penal Code, the merger of sentences and ultimately sentence of the defendant Agron Qafa by 12 (twelve) years

imprisonment.

1.3. In application of Article 406 of the Criminal Code, one-third of the sentence is reduced, eventually being sentenced to 8 (eight) years imprisonment.

2. Guilty plea of defendant Florenc Cherezi for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property with explosives", committed in cooperation, provided by Articles 152/1 and 25 of

The Criminal Code and his sentence to three (three) years imprisonment.

2.1. Guilty plea of defendant Florenc Cherezi for the criminal offense of "Illegal carrying and manufacturing of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", committed in

simple cooperation, to the detriment of the citizen ****, provided by Article 278/1 and 25 of the Criminal Code, and his sentence of 5 (five) years imprisonment.

2.2. In application of Article 55, the first paragraph of the Penal Code, the union of sentences and ultimately sentence of defendant Florenc Cherezi to 5(five) years imprisonment.

2.3. In application of Article 406 of the Criminal Code, one-third of the sentence is reduced, eventually being sentenced to 3 (three) years and 4 (four) months imprisonment.

2.4. In support of Article 15, 18 of law No. 81/2020 "On the rights and treatment of prisoners and detainees", this sentence, defendant Florenc
