The powerful explosion in the workplace took the lives of a father and his son in Lushnje.
Roland and Lidio Hoxha were both in the crane, while they were working at the business of the deputy of the area, Bujar Çela. This was their first day of work, which unfortunately turned out to be their last.
As reported so far, it is suspected that the crane touched a high voltage line wire, causing one of the oxygen cylinders they were moving to explode.
However, the causes of the tragedy are still unclear, while the regulation stipulates that no construction should be done under high voltage lines. Investigations are expected to shed more light on this event.
Roland's son, Lidio, had only recently returned from exile.
