The assassination in Rinas

Four firearms were found in the burned-out car in the village of Halil, Kruja, just minutes after the assassination attempt that killed Gilmando Dani and injured Muçi Shaljani.

The car, a Toyota Yaris, according to witnesses, had Greek license plates and was used for the attack at the Rinas airport roundabout.

Police say the weapons will be sent for expertise to the Scientific Police Institute.

Kruja Police Announcement:

Police services, during a search of the area in the village of Halil, found a burning Toyota vehicle, suspected to have been used by the perpetrators of the incident in Rinas. 

Four firearms were found in the vehicle that were suspected of being used in this incident. 

The weapons will be sent to the Scientific Police Institute.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to document the circumstances of the incident, identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
