Oil tolls, pounds and dollars inside the car/ Investigations for electoral corruption against businessman, Fiqiri Pali begin!

Dibra police have sent DP candidate for MP Xhemal Gjunkshi and 3 other people to SPAK after they stopped the vehicles in Maqellarë on Friday evening (May 9) in which Blendi Klos' political secretary and businessman Fiqiri Pali were traveling .

Procedural materials were also referred to SPAK, for the criminal offense of "Active corruption in elections", against businessman Fiqiri Pali, 57, and citizen HM, 54.

Dibër police announcement:

On 09.05.2025, at around 21.15, the Operations Room of the Dibër Local Police Directorate received a call from citizen Xh.Gj., (candidate for deputy of the Democratic Party political entity), who stated that in Maqellarë, representatives of the Socialist Party political entity were suspected of distributing sums of money in exchange for votes to residents of this unit.

Immediately, the special investigative group of the Dibër Local Police Directorate went to the given address and, under the direction of SPAK and the Dibër District Prosecutor's Office, all necessary investigative actions were carried out.

Regarding the above, the procedural materials were referred to SPAK, for the criminal offense "Active corruption in elections", related to the criminal offenses "Self-judgment", "Obstruction of the circulation of road transport vehicles", charged with citizens AK, 29 years old; HH, 48 years old; Xh.Gj., 62 years old; E.Gj., 33 years old.
