The second day of the “Giro d'Italia” in Tirana/ Get to know the schedules and the roads that will be blocked! (Avoid these roads)

In the framework of the development of the second stage of the international cycling race "Giro d'Italia", which will take place today in Tirana, Police employees, this morning, conducted a special briefing with Police employees, on the precise fulfillment of functional tasks along the race route.

The Tirana Local Police Directorate reminds citizens and drivers that today traffic and parking will be prohibited on these main axes:

Traffic and parking ban – 10:00–18:00

"Skenderbej" Square; "Uran Pano" Street; "Dedë Gjo Luli" Street; "Ibrahim Rugova" Street; "Deshmorët e 4 Shkurtit" Street; "Gjergj Fishta" Boulevard; "Muhamet Gjollesha" Street; "Bajram Curri" Boulevard; "Ibrahim Rugova" Street; "Lek Dugagjini" Street; "Dervish Hima" Street; Elbasan Street - Sauk Roundabout; "Abdyl Frashëri" Street; "Zogu I" Boulevard to "Fortuzi" Street; The street behind the Palace of Culture.

Restrictions on access to some residential blocks, especially in areas on the roads connecting ".Papa John Paul II" and "Free Ukraine" streets, do not have access to exit during the hours of 10:00-18:00.

The Tirana Local Police Directorate requests the understanding and cooperation of citizens/drivers in respecting these temporary restrictions and invites them to respect the instructions of the Police services, in order to guarantee order and security during the development of this international sporting event.
