GJKKO's appeal reduces sentences for the "fire group" in Lazarati

The Special Court of Appeals has overturned the decision of 21.05.2019 of the former Court of Appeals for Serious Crimes on the Lazarati group sentenced to a total of 52 years in prison.

The black platoons finally punished with:

10 years in prison Arbjon Aliko is sentenced (he was sentenced to 13 years in prison)

Gurgaz Skënderi was sentenced to 8 years in prison (he was sentenced to 11 years in prison)

8 years Enrik Skenderi (he was sentenced to 10 years in prison)

4. 9 years Alfred Proko (he was sentenced to 10 years in prison in absentia)

The Special Appeal also overturned the decision of the former Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes for the citizen Beqo Brahimi who was sentenced to 8 years in prison for "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Destruction of property by fire" by deciding to dismiss the case against him for these charges, because he was convicted of the same criminal offenses by a final court decision.

The sentences were given in connection with the events of 2014 in Lazarati, where police officer Ibrahim Basha was killed.
