Three police officers in Tirana have been suspended from duty as they are suspected of having exercised physical and psychological violence while escorting a 14-year-old boy to Police Station No. 1 in the capital.

The case was denounced by the Helsinki Committee in Tirana, after the complaint of the minor's parents and was reflected in several media.

The suspended officers with a measure of obligation to appear are Rasim Dogjani, Durim Murrja and Xhorxhina Beqo.

Announcement of the Police Supervision Agency:

Following the investigations related to the criminal proceedings of 2025, the Police Supervision Agency (Tirana Region) has executed the Decision of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, which has assigned the personal security measures of a coercive character "Obligation to appear before the Judicial Police" and "Suspension of the exercise of a public duty or service" against 3 police officers suspected of committing the criminal offense "Committing arbitrary actions" in cooperation and against children.

The assignment of personal security measures became possible since on 12/04/2025 these police officers are suspected of having committed arbitrary actions while escorting the minor citizen EG.
