After Voxnews reported today the complaint of a British tourist who complained that she had been cheated by the "N'Carshi" restaurant at the Tirana Castle, the restaurant in question has also responded.
The tourist claimed on social media that the "N'Çarshi" restaurant, at the Tirana Castle, had charged her a large sum of 2,100 euros, instead of the 2,100 lek that her table cost.
But the restaurant responded by saying that the confusion was due to an error in choosing the currency, and that it had been in contact with the customer. According to the restaurant, a request for a refund was immediately made.
N'Carshi restaurant's reaction to VoxNews:
Following your news published today regarding the invoice issued by our N'Carshi bar, below we are providing you with our side of the story to clarify the situation.
On Saturday, March 3rd, for the client in question, our waiter made an error in choosing the currency and instead of charging 2100 lek, he charged 2100 euros. This error was noted by the manager of the restaurant and the next day the lady came to our restaurant to complain. After apologizing and giving the contact details of the business economist, she was informed that the request for the refund of the amount would be made immediately on Monday. As you will see in the photos attached to this email, the bank was informed to immediately return the amount. Today, the English lady asked us for the tax coupon to present to her bank and it was sent to her within a very short time, as you will see from the photo attached. As I communicated to the lady, I also want to let you know that the banks are working with each other to solve the problem and return the amount received in error, but as you may know, due to the laws, these banks need their technical times for the return. I want to let you know that apart from the error that occurred on our part in choosing the currency on the device, we have always been very cooperative and always in contact with the person. It is not in our policies to harm customers and keep money that is not earned with our work.
We would be very grateful if you would take our side into consideration in presenting the news and we are at your disposal for any further clarification.
With Respect,
In the Carshi
