Journalist Adriatik Doçi has reacted after the ridiculous justification of the former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, who in relation to the luxury hotel bills paid by Klodian Zoto, a reaction to the show "Te Paespozuarit" said that it is about non-original documents, denied having paid with Zoto's card and said that it could be a matter of fines.

In a post on social networks, Doçi writes that Ahmetaj has the right to defend himself, even if he is lying. He replies to Ahmetaj that he did not report to SPAK either that he traveled with Klodian Zoto or that he used his card.

Doçi says that he reported to SPAK that Klodian Zoto paid for Ahmetaj's accommodation in 5-star hotels in Europe, before, during and after Ahmetaj signed for Zoto's incinerators. The journalist clarifies that Zoto simply booked his stay at the hotel and this action does not diminish the suspected criminal fact.

Further, Doçi lists the 4 pieces of evidence that confirm the corruption of Arben Ahmetaj, as he warns that new pieces of evidence will emerge.

Full reaction:

Caught in corruption together with two prosecutors who tried to save him, Arben Ahmetaj has the right to defend himself, even if he lies or manipulates his words.

Yesterday he said that he had not traveled with Klodian Zoto and that he had not used his cash card. I did not report to SPAK that he traveled with Klodian Zoto, nor that he used his card. I reported to SPAK that Klodian Zoto paid for Ahmetaj's accommodation in 5-star hotels in Europe, before, during and after Ahmetaj signed for Zoto's incinerators.

So, it was not necessary for Zoto to accompany Ahmetaj to the hotel, nor to hand him his credit card for use.

He simply confirmed his stay in the hotel and this action does not diminish the suspected criminal fact. Therefore, this banal form of defense is likely to lead to a criminal trial more quickly.

There are four pieces of evidence that confirm Ahmetaj's corruption.
1. Movement tracks in the TIMS system coinciding with accommodation in 5-star hotels paid for by Zoto.
2. Payments in the system from Klodian Zoto's account for the hotel account.
3. Confirmation of the financial staff of the hotels for the payments made by Zoto for Ahmetaj's accommodation.
4. Communications between Zoto and Ahmetaj before the former minister's trips.
New evidence will emerge.
