Lawyer Saimir Visha is demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Albana Koçiu, following the statement the latter made yesterday regarding the murder of judge Astrit Kalaja.

In an interview with "ReportTv", lawyer Visha emphasized that security and order in the courts must be guaranteed by the State Police.

"An executive branch represented by a Minister of the Interior cannot say that the Ministry of the Interior is not responsible. The Minister of the Interior should have left an hour ago, the director of the police should have left. The Minister of the Interior should have left with the statement she made. She cannot say that we, the institution that maintains order, are not responsible. But who is responsible? This Minister of the Interior is irresponsible with the statement she made," said the lawyer.

The Minister of Internal Affairs stated a day ago in her reaction that "The Police are not responsible for controlling entry and exit and security within court buildings."
