Tensions at Police Station No. 3, protesters break windows, police intervene

Tensions were reported this evening near Police Station No. 3 in Tirana. Some protesters broke the windows of the police station building.

Police intervened with water cannons in an attempt to disperse the crowd. The clash created tension and blocked roads in the area.

After the 35th protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office ended, a group of protesters marched towards Police Station No. 3, where some of the people arrested following incidents during Tuesday's protest in front of Parliament are being held. The protesters demanded their release, while the situation became tense for several minutes in front of the police station building.

At around 00:30, the protest in front of Police Station No. 3 was dispersed. After the intervention of police forces with a water cannon, the protesters left the area.
