Actor Robert Dragot Aliaj has made a public call to participate in the protest, through a video message published on social networks.
In his reaction, Aliaj addresses citizens in critical tones, inviting them to get involved and not remain passive in the face of developments in the country.
"Where are you, the patriots of the stadiums and the loud concerts, you with tattoos of Greater Albania, who scream in hysteria?
"But when the homeland is burning, why do you cower like mice? When you are unable to protect your child, you do not deserve it. You, the disposable patriot, who castrated you?" he says.
Further, the actor emphasizes that patriotism is not measured by symbols or slogans, but by the willingness to act in defense of the country.
"True patriotism is not the song of Xhamadani that blasts from the windows of luxury cars with income from prostitution and drugs.
"It's not the insincere songs about Albanians, which you have exterminated to eat or embalm. Not drugs, not crime, not corruption. Noooooo, it's not patriotism," he says.
At the end of the message, Aliaj calls on citizens to protest, describing this as an act of true patriotism.
"True patriotism costs something, gentlemen. It costs more than freedom. So get moving, do something for once in your life. Protest!"
True patriotism means loyalty, being sworn to something greater than oneself. A true patriot is one who loves life, is free in space, does not bargain, does not steal his country, does not steal his vote, nor does he sell it.
The refrain of true patriotism is not: "Oh, how good it would be to be Albanian."
"True patriotism is the ritual of one who stands up when the homeland is in danger."
