Tragic accident in Librazhd, 42-year-old killed by ARA's negligence!

A serious incident was recorded on the Hotolisht-Librazhd axis , where a 42-year-old man lost his life after a rock mass broke away from the road segment under construction and fell on his vehicle.

A road that was supposed to guarantee minimal traffic safety has become a fatal danger to the lives of citizens.

This tragedy did not come unexpectedly.

For months, repeated complaints from citizens about falling rocks on this axis and the dangerous condition of the construction site have been reported and published.

The warnings have been clear, documented, and consistent.

However, despite these warnings, the responsible institutions, including the Albanian Road Authority (ARRA) and the works supervision structures, have not taken effective measures to secure the segment.

Neither serious protective measures, nor temporary interruptions of traffic in danger areas, nor preventive interventions that would have avoided a loss of life.

Instead of immediate response, the danger was treated as secondary, until the moment it turned fatal.

Today, the consequences are irreversible: a 42-year-old man has lost his life and a family has been destroyed.

When a risk is repeatedly publicized and ignored by responsible institutions, the matter cannot be closed as an "accident".

It demands a full and transparent investigation into the way the construction site was managed, the lack of safety measures, and every level of institutional accountability.

A road under construction cannot turn into a death trap.

And a state that does not react to warnings is responsible for the consequences./ joq
