"The people wish you well" - Protesters bring cakes to the boulevard

The 35th day of the protest in Tirana coincided this Saturday with the birthday of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who marks his 62nd birthday.

On this occasion, many of the protesters have brought symbolic cakes to the square, on which messages are written for Prime Minister Rama.

One citizen's cake reads: "The people congratulate you, resign, take Saliu with you." Another cake reads "Cake today, resignation tomorrow," while one of the activists said that this will be his last birthday as prime minister.

During the rally in "Skënderbej" Square, protesters continued to chant and chant slogans against the government, while the atmosphere was accompanied by numerous banners and cheers.
