Samantha Gjeci

A girl of Albanian origin has conquered the front pages of the Italian media, due to her excellent results at school.

Samantha Gjeci, the student who has just completed her fourth year at the Canova high school in the Treviso region, is considered a model student, as she has had all ten marks in her diploma in two consecutive years.

As happened last June, the girl's thoughts while speaking to the local media were immediately returned by the family.

"My parents support me and are very proud," explains Samantha.

"Thirty years ago my father landed in Italy from Albania. And I know how much sacrifice he made for me."

Samantha's love for studying is undeniable.

The girl tells the newspaper Il Gazzettino : "I am a perfectionist. This motivates me. It was more complicated to confirm at these levels. I felt a little pressure, but in the end I managed my emotions."

In fact, Samantha tries not to deprive herself of the typical leisure activities of her peers.

"I find time for my passions. I like to read, go out with friends, meet my cousins and family, etc..., she says.

An excellent relationship has also been established with classmates, despite the reputation of "people". Samantha has also already completed an internship in the construction sector of Treviso Municipality.

"I like science subjects, mathematics and physics a little more", concludes Samantha, who says about the choice of university: "Some time ago I was a little more uncertain, but now I am oriented towards engineering branches".
