Former MP Halit Valteri filed a few days ago in SPAK a criminal report for President Ilir Meta, SMI chairwoman Monika Kryemadhin and former SMI MP Vangjel Tavon. He accuses them of active and passive corruption in the private sector, concealment of assets, non-payment of taxes and duties and abuse of office.

In his reasoning, Walter states that he has data that raises suspicions about the consumption of these criminal offenses. Citing articles published in the media, Halit Valteri talks about lobbying contracts in the US that precede the 2017 election campaign, which he says have not been declared by the SMI. According to him, they are financed through offshore companies in Cyprus. Lobbying - says the candidate for deputy of the Socialist Party - was done for false causes, in order to misinform the voters, making them think that the SMI has the support of the American Government.
