Prime Minister Edi Rama took part this Sunday morning in the inauguration of new sports facilities, where the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, was also present.

During his speech, Rama promised that the government will continue to invest in sports facilities. He did not even spare the jokes where he said: "Open the fridge this afternoon, you will miss me".

"I want to emphasize that in cooperation with the Albanian Olympic Committee, the government will continue to support the growth of this movement, the creation of classes and sports teams in all schools in the country. The creation of championships at the municipal level, at the regional level and at the national level, as well as the continuous strengthening and extension of sports networks throughout the territory, in order to make the connection between the Olympic movement in schools and those that will continue to deal with sports at a professional level.

It is very clear that you have come here to have fun, not to listen to speeches. You are missing me, open the refrigerator this afternoon and you have me in the refrigerator if you want " , said Rama.
