The General Directorate of Taxes announces that luxury cars have been added within the one-year period, but the problem is that they were purchased by people who have not declared their income.

Through a post on social media, the General Directorate of Taxes states that during the year 2023-2024, 400 luxury vehicles with owners with undeclared income were added to circulation. The institution's message is that these people declare their income in order to justify the purchases of these cars.

All those who own luxury vehicles will be included in a verification process, from which they will be analyzed through declared income, their compatibility with the value of the assets owned, as well as with the supporting documentation of the financial source.

" The Specialized Control Directorate at the Tax Administration has launched an audit of luxury cars purchased by individuals not registered with the tax authorities!
From the data made available by the General Directorate of Road Transport Services, it results that 400 vehicles were purchased during 2023-2024 by persons who do not have declared income!
ATTENTION! The Tax Administration suggests that individuals declare the income used to purchase these vehicles in order to avoid penalties!
All individuals who own luxury category vehicles will be included in the verification process through the analysis of:
Income declared at the Tax Administration
Their compliance with the value of the assets owned
Documentation justifying the financial source ", announces the General Directorate of Taxation.
