Journalists Eni Ferhati and Klodiana Lala spoke tonight about a case that is currently under investigation by SPAK based on some communications discovered between traffickers in the encrypted SKY ECC application.
Eni Ferhati and Klodiana Lala announced in the show 'Opinion' that SPAK has doubts that the amount of cocaine of 613 kg seized in 2018 in the warehouse of "Arbri Garden" and stored in the Police Laboratory, may have been stolen by criminal groups and be replaced with starch, flour or other substances.
According to them, SPAK has these doubts after a communication from a well-known figure of the world of crime in the country, who requested to receive this amount of cocaine from the police premises with the aim of selling it on the free market.
It is also suspected that police officials were also involved in the communications.
For this reason SPAK is investigating this matter.
Klodiana Lala: SPAK on the basis of some data obtained from communications on EncroChat and on SKY is investigating possible suspicions that criminal groups in cooperation with police officials have intervened in the criminal laboratory of the State Police to remove from there and to receive the large quantities of drugs seized since 2018. Do you remember Arbë Çekaj's drugs? There has been a conversation on EncroChat and in SKY there are strong doubts and if this turns out to be true, it will be one of the biggest scandals that will involve the State Police and it is suspected that the moment the traffickers failed to rob the drugs inside the laboratory, they worked with other mechanisms to replace it with flour, starch, etc.
Eni Ferhati: The point is that on SKY there is a conversation aimed at... it's a Hollywood movie script. The robbery did not happen. A very high individual of the world of crime has expressed to SKY that we should crack down on the drugs seized by the police. The drug was located in the Scientific Police Institute in warehouses, guarded by the police force.
