SPAK has completed the investigations and has also sent Altin Hajri for trial, in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Jan Prenga, an event that occurred on January 17, 2020 in Kamze.

Altin Hajri is the owner of the "Golden" complex in Shijak, where Jan Prenga was killed and then his body was taken away in a van and it is not clear yet where it was taken to be buried.

Altin Hajri is accused of 5 criminal offences, more specifically:
- "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage",
- "Unauthorized possession of combat weapons",
- "Hiding and disposing of a corpse", 
- "Structured criminal group"
- "Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organization and structured criminal group"

"The defendant Altin Hajri, owner of the "Golden" complex located in Shijak, is accused of being a participant in the structured criminal group that carried out the kidnapping of the citizen Jan Prenga, an event that occurred on 17.01.2020 in Kamëz, Tirana. Investigations continue regarding the identification , gathering, as well as securing evidence for other persons who are involved in this event." it is stated in the announcement of SPAK

Earlier, SPAK also charged Dritan Rexhepi, Gentjan Funiqi, Martin Bleta, Korado Keshteja, Artan Doçaj, Aldo Majnishta and Geraldo Martini in connection with this event.

How the event happened:

According to the investigations, Dritan Rexhepidhe Gentjan Funiqi (Doçaj) with a criminal record in the field of narcotics, at the end of December 2019 ordered the kidnapping of the victim, Jani Prenga, residing in Kamëz.

This, after Astrit Prenga, the victim's brother stole a quantity of cocaine in Portsmouth Port, England, belonging to them, which had been imported from Ecuador to England. This kidnapping was ordered by them in order for Astriti and other persons to return the narcotics.

Ndërsa organizimi i rrëmbimit është kryer nga Martin Bleta e Korado Keshteja, ekzekutimi i këtij rrëmbimi është kryer nga të pandehurit Artan Doçaj, Aldo Majnishta, Geraldo Martini dhe një person tjetër i paidentifikuar.

Njoftimi i SPAK:

Prokuroria e Posaçme kundër Korrupsionit dhe Krimit të Organizuar në vazhdimësinë e hetimeve të kryera në lidhje me procedimin penal nr. 62, të vitit 2020, për të cilën është kërkuar dërgimi më parë për gjykim pranë Gjykatës së Posaçme të Shkallës së Parë Për Korrupsionin dhe Krimin e Organizuar i të pandehurve Dritan Rexhepi, Gentjan Funiqi, Martin Bleta, Korado Keshteja, Artan Doçaj, Aldo Majnishta dhe Geraldo Martini, ka përfunduar hetimet dhe ka kërkuar dërgimin e çështjes për gjykim edhe për të pandehurin Altin Hajri akuzuar për kryerjen e veprave penale :

“Rrëmbim apo mbajtje peng e personit” kur është shkaktuar vdekja parashikuar nga nenet 109 paragrafi i tretë dhe 28/4 të Kodit Penal;

“Mbajtje pa leje e armëve luftarake”, parashikuar nga nenet 278 paragrafi i parë dhe 28/4  i  Kodit Penal;

“Fshehja dhe asgjesimi i kufomes”, parashikuar nga nenet 303 dhe 28/4 i Kodit Penal;

“Grupi i strukturuar kriminal”, parashikuar nga neni 333a/2 i Kodit Penal;

“Kryerja e veprave penale nga organizata kriminale dhe grupi i strukturuar kriminal”, parashikuar nga neni 334/1 i Kodit Penal.

I pandehuri Altin Hajri, pronar i kompleksit “Golden” ndodhur në Shijak akuzohet se është pjesëmarrës në grupin e strukturuar kriminal që ka kryer rrëmbimin e shtetasit Jan Prenga, ngjarje e ndodhur datën 17.01.2020 në Kamëz, Tiranë

Investigations continue regarding the identification, collection and securing of evidence for other persons involved in this incident.

Clarification: The request for judgment is part of the criminal prosecution exercise. Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a final decision
