The afternoon of April 9 would turn out to be tragic for a family of 6 members on the Prrenjas-Qafë Thane road axis, after they were hit by a fast moving vehicle.

As a result, 24-year-old Eneida Pishkashi was seriously injured and ended up in a coma. After 5 days at the Trauma hospital in Tirana, she died.

The drunk driver, Jetmir Daci , who also caused the serious accident, was arrested only after the young woman died after 5 days in a coma and not at the moment when the event happened.

According to the police, he was driving the vehicle in a drunken state, when on April 9 he collided with 4 other people on the Prrenjas-Qafë Thane new axis. In the test done by the police on the day of the event, it was found that the 44-year-old man was drunk at the wheel at the level of 0.40 mg/l of alcohol at the time he crashed into the Pishkashi family.

However, by order of the Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan, Daci was released.

The family that had an accident was standing in front of a service station and were waiting for their car to be repaired when they were hit by a "Passat" vehicle driven by Dacin who took them in front.

The head of the family, who was also injured, was an immigrant in Greece and had returned to his homeland for family reasons.
