While investigations into the export of  Kurum waste have remained at a standstill because experts have not yet been found to take samples from the 102 containers, it is the shipping company that has been put into action.

For the umpteenth time, the company is demanding the return of the containers, as it claims it must continue working.

The waste containers have been placed in Porto Romano and are guarded by the police.

So far, only Geology-Mining has responded that they can do some of the analysis.

Kurum 's remains were exported by the Sokolaj company to Thailand at a time when the host country's approval had not been obtained.

It is suspected that the waste is toxic and was returned to Albania, the scandal still has no responsible persons./ VNA
