The humane intervention of the Border Police and the solution through the ferry to Albania.

A serious and unprecedented situation has occurred with around 300 passengers departing from Bergamo, who were suddenly stranded at Brindisi airport without any communication or explanation from the airline company Wizz Air .

Passengers are left in total uncertainty, without information about the continuation of their journey and without alternative solutions.

Faced with this emergency situation, the immediate intervention of the Brindisi Border Police was decisive, showing professionalism and, above all, extraordinary humanity.

Airport chief Roberto Semeraro has personally taken the initiative to find a concrete solution for the abandoned passengers.

Semmeraro immediately contacted the shipping company Star Lines, requesting that a ferry be launched to transport passengers to Albania, as well as guaranteeing his return.

The Star Lines company has made itself available without hesitation, showing responsibility and full cooperation in resolving the problem.

The ferry, which arrived this morning from the port of Vlora to the port of Brindisi, is scheduled to depart again today at 23:00, enabling the return of passengers to their destination.

It is worth highlighting the continuous and humane commitment of the Brindisi Border Police, which has done its utmost to find a solution and avoid worsening the situation.

Their assistance has been essential in calming passengers and ensuring their safety and dignity.

This event sheds light on the airline's lack of responsibility, but at the same time highlights the positive example of institutions and individuals, such as Antonio Giordano and the Brindisi Border Police, who with professionalism and humanity managed to resolve a difficult situation for hundreds of citizens.
