The fight over a chair between two officials in Bulqiza has ended in the police.

40-year-old Juljan Damzi , director of Healthcare in Bulqiza , after a conflict for weak motives, slapped 26-year-old  Shime Doda , head of the Dibër Water and Sewerage Task Force (UKD).

The case has been referred to the Dibra Prosecutor's Office.

"The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for citizen JD, 40 years old, resident of Bulqiza, who is suspected of having slapped citizen Sh.D, 26 years old, due to duty, after a conflict for weak motives. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, for further action," the Dibër police announced.

The incident occurred yesterday, June 10. Shime Doda stated that he was slapped in the workplace by Juljan Damzi.

In her testimony, Doda claims that she was tidying up the offices when citizen Erla Damzi , the wife of Juljan Damzi , appeared , demanding to take the tables as she had orders from above.

The debate started over a damaged chair, for which Doda claims she also asked for the sum of 15 thousand new lek for it.

"She took the tables out into the hallway and then went into the other office, taking a chair. The chair was damaged and she started shouting that you will return it as soon as you received it. I told her that the chair is a tool to be used for state office work and I told her that the chair exists but is simply broken. From that moment on, she continued shouting and saying that I will tell the director that you broke the chairs and you will be held responsible for what you did or you will pay 15,000 new lek for the damaged chair," her testimony states.

Further, she says that Julian Damzi also showed up, slapped her and followed her to attack her again. 

Doda says that when her colleague tried to call the administrator, Damzi threw the phone at her and then returned, slapping her on the arm and back of the head.

"At this moment, Erla Dazmi comes again with her husband Julian Damzi, who addresses me in a loud voice, telling me what you are fighting with my daughter-in-law for and directly pushes me and slaps me. Then the employees who were present, who are Norald Zuna, Luljeta Mullameti, Elda Curri, intervened to stop him, but he still did not stop and continued following me to hit me," she says.
