As part of the reconstruction of houses destroyed after the earthquake of November 26, 2019, 150 new houses in Thumana were handed over today.

Prime Minister Edi Rama was accompanied in Thumana by Imam Elvis Naçi and the famous actor Mirush Kabashi.

During his speech, Rama said that these houses were built with the contribution of the "Firdeus" foundation.

Among other things, Rama gave an answer to all those who, according to him, have accused Imam Elvis Naçi of "evaporating" money donated by donors.

"If Elvis did not want to give an answer to those who repeatedly accused here that the money of the houses was wasted, the donors' money was wasted, the billions given by the world were evaporated, I can honestly not leave them without returned the answer. The works start when the work for the study starts, then for the project, the contracts and then we come to the realization.

We continued with all the infrastructure transformation to come to the project to build the houses. Every job loves its time. Together we realized what we have not found in any reconstruction plan, to give you homes for free, even through a soft loan happening in Italy, Greece.

Together with the municipality we are doing some other work that is left, either for the health center or for a toy park for children. Thumana is a model of sustainable urban and social development. Many neighborhoods of our country would like to be like Thumana. "I wish the Democrats, who are not few in Thumana, to enjoy their homes just like the others and not to take their locks off each other, but to respect each other", said Rama.
