From the illiteracy exam to the Matura exam, the dates are set when they will

Fifth graders will take the national exam on May 23rd. Through this test, the Ministry of Education will detect the level of illiteracy nationwide.

The test, which starts at 10:00, will have a duration of one hour and 30 minutes and students will show up at school, just like every day and at the end of the exam there will be no lessons.

The knowledge gained in the first five years in the three key subjects of a person's formation: Albanian Language, Mathematics and Natural Knowledge, 10 and 11 year olds will demonstrate in the integrated test.

For comprehensive results, specific tests will be designed for certain categories. For example, for students of Greek and Macedonian national minorities, the part of the test that includes Mathematics and Natural Science subjects will be in their mother tongue. Also, students with disabilities, according to the instruction, develop the assessment of achievements in accordance with the curriculum they work with, their features and standard.

In these cases, the Institute for the Blind Students withdraws the test from the educational services center one day before the assessment takes place and returns it to the Braille system. The whole process, from the drafting of theses to their evaluation, is in charge of following the General Directorate of Pre-University Education, which must report to the MES for any irregularities.

Test results are obtained after correction by evaluators and so far have never been made public. They serve more for the Ministry, in drafting educational policies. Seeing the gaps that students show in certain topics will enable changes in the curricula, where necessary.

The Ministry of Education has set the dates for the exams for the ninth grade or the minimum grade, which for the first year will surprisingly be held in the same period as the graduation period. So, if the prom season lasts from 9 to 24 June, for the ninth grade the season starts on the 20th and ends on the 29th.
