The criminal court of Leuven in Belgium has sentenced 9 Albanians with sentences of up to 5 years in prison.

It is learned that the criminal organization operated in nine cannabis plantations. The court also declared 2.7 million euros confiscated.

Both leaders organized logistics and harvesting, so F. B and S. J also received the most severe punishments. F. B received four years in prison, a fine of 32,000 euros and must repay the civil parties more than 200,000 euros.

S. J received a sentence of five years in prison, a fine of 40,000 euros and must also pay almost 200,000 euros to the civil parties.

While the entire profit was confiscated, but because the gang members were part of a larger organization, the two main figures must both pay 500,000 euros.

The other Albanians received 30 months in prison and 8,000 euros in fines.

The plantations that were active between October 2020 and January 2023 were located in and around Leuven, there was also one in Antwerp.
