"Albanians have taken control of cocaine from South America to Britain"

"Daily Mail" has produced a documentary again about Albanians and their connections with crime and drugs. British media say mobsters from the Balkan country have taken control of drugs from South America to Britain. According to this media, about 4 thousand Albanians live in Ecuador.

“The UK cocaine market is worth up to £2 billion with almost 1 million users, while the number of cocaine-related deaths has increased 7-fold in just a decade. Investigations by the National Crime Agency have shown that organized crime groups from Albanians are controlling the cocaine market in most of Britain, with the exception of Merseyside, where the locals are still in charge.

Now, these drug lords have taken control of drug distribution from Ecuador, where they are engaged in a bloody battle with local cartels to take control of international drug distribution. Currently, the Albanians have taken control of the coastal area in Brighton and Hove, where cocaine enters Britain. A mysterious crime figure from Albania, who has been identified only by his initials, is said to be at the head of a network of drug traffickers who supply cocaine to the middle class and students in Britain.

Global cocaine production has reached record levels after the return to normalcy from the pandemic. Fernando Villavicencio, president of the congressional oversight committee, said about 4,000 Albanians live in Ecuador. Drug trafficking, corruption and other forms of organized crime have penetrated deeply into the state and the political class. Today, the fragile institutional framework and democracy are in serious danger," he added. Cocaine from Ecuador is brought into the UK by containers which usually land in the ports of Rotterdam or Antwerp, where there has also been a huge increase in crime linked to drug gangs", writes the Daily Mail .
